Meet mrs. murphy
I am so excited to be a part of the Happy Valley School District and serving at Happy Valley Primary School. My career began as a 5th grade teacher in Tracy Unified School District. I also taught 4th, 7th, 8th and 1st. I served on the Literacy Committee for several years where we focused on district wide literacy outcomes in reading and writing.
In Shasta County I have held administrative positions at the Shasta County Office of Education in many of the student programs, including Project SHARE, Excel Academy and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Visual Impairment programs. This opportunity has left me with a broad view of students and programs throughout the county.
Working with many districts has taught me the value of collaborative school environments in creating successful teachers and students. Partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at school.
As your principal, I look forward to working together to teach and provide students with the knowledge, skills and mindset necessary to have a successful future.
